EARTH aims to strengthen its focus on research, innovation, and entrepreneurship development within academic institutions. By nurturing creative thinking, fostering industry-academia collaboration, and encouraging evidence-based practices, EARTH seeks to empower educators and students alike to become changemakers in the evolving landscape of global hospitality and tourism.

Mission of EARTH

The Educators’ Association for Research in Hospitality and Tourism seeks to:

Advance the discipline of hospitality and tourism studies through the promotion of scholarly inquiry, critical reflection, and evidence-based research.
Foster collaboration and dialogue among educators, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to strengthen academia–industry linkages.
Encourage methodological innovation, interdisciplinary perspectives, and cross-cultural approaches in research and pedagogy.
Provide platforms for dissemination of knowledge through conferences, publications, symposia, and academic forums.
Support capacity-building initiatives that enhance research competencies and pedagogical effectiveness among hospitality and tourism educators.
Advocate for ethical, sustainable, and inclusive practices that align hospitality and tourism education with the imperatives of global society.
